The village of Siolim

Siolim is situated on the left banks of Chapora river and is Goa’s most enchanting of villages. It is perfectly located to get away to the prettiest of beaches of Vagator, Morjim, Ashwem and Arambol. The village of Siolim is looked upon by travellers wanting to enjoy a calm, serene and rural atmosphere. Historical church of St Anthony’s in Siolim was built in 1630 and is a few minutes’ walk from The Chimes. Siolim is also just a 10 minutes drive to Arpora which is known for its Saturday night Bazaar and the best night club in Goa called Club Cubana. The market of Siolim has a supermarket, bakery, ATM, chemist, salon, fruits and vegetables and eating joints like Domino’s, Baskin Robbins.

Siolim is also home to a daily market on the banks of river Chapora where one can buy a variety of the choicest and freshest of daily catch from the sea. Siolim is located around the Chapora river giving it a great scenic touch.
